Masterclass 2025

Magpie Artsong invites applications from singers, pianists, and duos to participate in our first artsong masterclass.

Refine your craft in this oft-neglected repertoire with co-Artistic Directors Penelope Cashman (piano) and Kyle Stegall (tenor) as they bring their collective artsong experience to this public workshop. Selected singers and pianists will be taken on a deep dive into the expressive possibilities of artsongs of varying languages, styles, and time-periods. 

There is no age limit and participation for singers and pianists is free.

Public observers are welcome. Entry by donation (minimum $10) at the door.

Applications are open to singers and pianists of all levels and experience. There is no age limit.
